about
Under his well-recognized moniker Khalab, A&R and co-founder of Hyperjazz Records, Raffaele Costantino edited ‘You Are From This Planet’ - the first track of the last album by Astral Travel.
As in the original version, here again, Dwight Trible’s voice leads the subconscious into an ancestral journey, a new level of experience where Tommaso Cappellato’s vision - strongly influenced by Sun Ra’s philosophy and masterfully shaped by Rabih Beaini - meets the dark and shamanic Khalab’s cosmos.

In this cosmic journey Alessia Obino takes the time to produce a fantastic world of sounds and talk about the injustices that affect this planet, giving a heartfelt perspective through words of hope. Tommaso Cappellato
My side jazz funk trio project with the amazing Alberto Lincetto on keys and Nicolò Masetto on bass. We put a lot of love into this! Tommaso Cappellato

Moodymann creates innovative soul funky music with deep 70s inspiration. The vocals are simply outstanding. A step back in time, 50 years ago! Superb. jef37

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
